but the thing is, i'm sure there are things which i dont have to bring to camp, but the damned paper put all items issued in BMT. ok i asked mph and he said dunnit swinning trunks. thats a few micrograms cleared. but i brought the rest, including the dumb green cup.
medical on friday 12noon. hopefully dont have to book in and book out again after that. (assuming we get to book out on friday :]]]]]])

yea my ordered supplements arrived this morning. actly i ordered them ytd only. efficient and fast. i like :]
i wonder if the commanders at signals call us "privates". seriously, it doesnt sound nice and decent. and will take some time getting used to it. i rather them call us "botaks".

a usual day with army out of my life.
ate jia xiang mee for lunch. played yuri's revenge all day. ate new york new york for dinner. went PC show. bus-ed home. met wan yin and brandon at serangoon while changing bus.
so, my lil elfie twin was the first to meet me without prior arrangement. caught me totally by surprise. i thought i could avoid being detected by some ex-dhs peepz in citylink, and i DID! but while looking at magazines, someone tapped me on my shoulder, and i turned. guess what! its an elf! exactly 2 months (13apr-13june) of not meeting anyone on the streets.
oh she didnt want the prize. noble :]
and she said i look YELLOW O.O
omg.
but she look totally tired.
ok here's a detailed explanation on how i jumped from 12km RM to 24km RM.
CO initally planned. all those who missed 16km RM should do 16km RM while others do 24km RM. but he changed it. those 16km RMers, if they/we are feeling fine at the 16km point, we are allowed to continue for another 8km to finish 24km.
so thats how i managed to do 24km without doing 16km.
how i managed to not do re-SOC. there is a final SOC evaluation day, where ppl do their SOC in BMT, and see if they pass or fail. well, on that day of SOC, i had to do re-IPPT bcuz i missed IPPT day due to injury. and after SOC day, there is no more SOC training/schedule, so i didnt do SOC evaluation.
how i managed to miss 16km RM. erm, i had to go re-SIT TEST, so i didnt do 16km RM. i did 12km RM and proceeded to do 3days of sit test.
how i managed to miss re-16km RM. well, i failed my re-IPPT, so there is a re-re-IPPT the next day, which is also the re-16km RM day. IPPT > re-16km RM, so i went to do re-re-IPPT and missed the re-16km RM. cool huh. anyway, i failed re-re-IPPT. the next day there was re-re-re-IPPT, which i got silver. the rest of the ppl were doing area cleaning. mundane.
i had re-confinement. why re-confinement? my weapon got stunned during field camp. i was drowsy after taking medication (i was on status, ATT B, fever). my PS woke me up with my weapon in his hands =.= suppose to get guard duty one weekend. then it changed to one confinement during one saturday. then i happen to get re-SIT TEST, which end on the same saturday, so my confinement got pushed back to the next saturday, as a re-confinement.
yes i'm complicated :(
well, goodnite!

“To me, this was an unforgettable concert… an unforgettable night, because this night created such an emotional upheaval.” -- Sun Chaoyi, Renmin University of China, on CCO’s performance of the Dream of the Red Chamber concert suite.
"Wu's voice… glides and blends with the orchestra wonderfully, every phrase having a beautiful arch.” -- Jin Tielin, renowned professor at the China Conservatory of Music, on Soprano Wu Bixia.
“His insightful understanding and grasp of traditional music culture enables him to render different music styles accurately, bringing out the essence of each piece of music through the orchestra.” -- People’s Music on Conductor Tay Teow Kiat.
The Dream of the Red Chamber concert suite, composed by Wang Liping (王立平), is based on the soundtrack of the 1987 CCTV television adaption of the eponymous classic Chinese novel. Since its debut performance by the City Chinese Orchestra (CCO) in 1999, the suite has gained immense popularity within the Chinese community. After nearly 100 performances staged by numerous orchestras in China and Southeast Asia, CCO is proud to present the suite again in Encore – A Decade of Dreams from the Red Chamber《梦系红楼》— 十年回顾.
Join renowned female soprano Wu Bixia (吴碧霞) as she dazzles you with her rendition of classic songs in the suite, such as Poem of Flower Burial and Longing in Vain. Hailed as the “nightingale of the East and West”, Wu Bixia is the first vocalist in China who is equally proficient in the Chinese traditional school and the western “bel canto” school of opera, and as won numerous international awards of the highest standing.
Performed in Chinese. Vocal Accompaniment by Yi Sheng Choral Ensemble.

ytd was 24kmRM from 5am till 12pm. and this baika did it.
the thought of giving up was never on my mind, though pain crept in at 16km. the 16km to 21km mark was gruelling, but the 30min rest was good. had problems going to the latrine as i was having dizzy spells, much linked to dehydration, so when i got back, i stuffed myself with water. much better.
GP was cool. had some problems with rusuk senjata after hormat, but was glad i didnt have the same problem in GP. phew.
monday night a bird flew into sect2, hit the fan, and got baiwinged. i carried it to 1st floor and place it under a tree. the next morning, i found it dead :(
thankfully, there is no re-SOC schedule, so no re-SOC for me. also, CPT koh allowed us, who missed 16km, to do 24km straight, thats if he thinks we're fit to continue after 16km point. and i did!
medical appointment tmrw.
I NEED TO PLAY!
