hey people i'm back from china.

the trip has lots and lots of nice sceneries and enjoyable moments.
like the changbaishan, shisanlin, great wall etc...
though much of our trip was spent on travelling, i'm sure everybody had a great time.

thanks to the people who planned this trip with much effort and hardwork, the comm members, dongyun, the tour guides, the people behind the scenes, the people on the scene, the people who never made it to the scenes......

day one, night

reached the airport early. there was news of guys reaching the airport early and welcome the cargoes. so there i am, at the airport, but the cargo was late. checked in and stuff, got the cargoes going, and there we are off to china.



day two, early morning

ate plane food, drank plane stuff, transit at beijing, wasted time looking for cargoes, gave us some problems with the officials. rarr. nevermind. nearly missed our plane to chang chun.
never mind. we reached changchun and lalala-ed all the way to dinner and hotel. it wasnt bad. it was nice infact.



day three, performance.

yea performance. reached concert hall early to see instrus. the instrus was bad. only got 3 timpanis, and the yun luo is for a little kid to play with de. the glock is the length of my right arm, excluding my wrist. its was miniature...didnt have time to eat lunch, so i skipped lunch to fix a yun luo.

speaking of it, the yun luo they gave me, some rows have 4 circles to put the luo thru, some have 5, some have 3, some only 1. so in total got 19 holes for me to use. not enough, and it looks dumb, and its nearly crumbling to pieces. i only xi guan straight row yun luos, and so after great and sheer effort, we manage to persuade the people there to lend us their higher class yun luo which is straight rows and it has 6 rows. whee~!

performed. wasnt bad. quite good. three cheers!


day four, changbaishan

travelled by bus to changbaishan. in the morning, shu hui, jian feng, benson and deli dun feel well. on the way, jian feng gave way and he merlioned his dinner and breakfast. din noe what was the cause of his unpredicted moment of unglamness. was it motion sickness, or food poison, or some other alien invading his secretory cells. never mind, after some hours, just when we thought all the action was over, jian feng got an encore....

arrived at hotel at night, and i din feel well. i got diaorrhea. tummy pain. went to the latrine quite a few times. i slept, surprisingly.


day five, changbaishan

woke up feeling sick. my situation got worse. ate 2 mini man tous for breakfast, went to changbaishan for real. icy mountain with a beautiful lake. then went to waterfall. had to walk plenty of wooden steps and journey lotsa distance before we got a view of the waterfall. nice la. went to see the mini tianchi and underground forest. i din enter the forest as i wanted a rest. heard thats its full of creepy crawlies.

travelled to some hotel. i totally went on a hunger strike the whole day. went hospital that night with deli. had 2 drips and a bottel of medicine. the bills are ok. china's hospital fees arent high. thank goodness. i felt much better after the drip.


day six, train

morning went to some places. got go bear farm. the little bears there so cute. hyperactive. then after that we boarded our train. felt quite disappointed as we wont see xiao zhao, our nice tour guide, anymore. wave bye to him on the train, to the platform where he is =(
settled down in our cabin. i'm bunking with hong ming, joel, jian feng, zhong yi and wei xun. thankfully they din snore.
mug a bit, play cards a bit, practically wasted time.
drank so much water away too. i've learnt to treasure water in china.

played with yiu sum, jia hui and shu yung till 1am. we're nocturnal.


day seven, beijing

reached beijing, and our new tour guide sucks. seriously, i REALLY enjoyed lunch in beijing. the food was good. real good. fresh fish finally! went to a boring place called yiheyuan. its cixi taihou's favourite palace. lalala...its not my type.
went to a tea-factory? tea place la. bought some tea leaves. it aint cheap, but it comes with a colour changing tea-set. cool~!


day eight, great-wall, 13th tomb

the great wall was definitely cool, but climbing up took some time and effort. but it was a cool view from up there. took some photos, and we rushed to meal and the 13th tomb of some king, but that place was quite a bore.


day nine, showtime

a whole day of performance, a mac lunch, and a long showtime with a half an hour interview with wang liping, the composer of hongloumeng songs. ate supper at renmindaxue, KTV from 1am to 5am. it was day bright when we left.


day ten, return

the morning was spent going to shanghai yinyue xueyuan for looking and purchasing some music books or scores or instru stuff. bought a nice piano score book.
afternoon was spent shopping in a horrible place called wangfujin. its not our type of a so called shopping heaven. bought few stuff, couldnt find local delights.
at night, we made our way to beijing airport.

day eleven, plane

ate plane food, listen to plane music, drank coke.
reach changi and colleted our baggage and cargoes with ease.
end of journey.

facing withdrawal symptoms.
thats why my blog is so vague.
my mind is full of hong lou meng verses and the happy times with cco peepz.

thanks to: wan gui, yiu sum, jia hui, shu yung, hong ming, jian feng, joel, jia min, shu hui, kelvin ho, kuei fu, kee wei, mei xue, cindy, flea, ying chun, benson, shao dong, jia da, eugene etc people for making my trip a memorable one. hope to see you guys again and real soon.

i dread school...
i wanna an encore!!


speaking of today, reach airport, go home put luggage, rush to school, attend bio, sleeping when i can, recording the lecture with my cam hiding in my bag. after bio went to meet veron. i did nothing la. i stoned, fiddled with my phone, went mac with her to eat and stone for even longer. gish veron, i'm sorry i wasted yur day and afternoon. i wanted to study, but my mind was switched off and it went into "entertainment mode" where cuirui would sing zhanghuayin....

gosh yiusum, the withdrawal symptoms is getting worse...
