LT4 has better sound quality than the co room. but it still sucks.

yeaa, thats true. although it is really an old place, but it still produces the best ORIGINAL instrument sound quality. there is the esplanade, but it produces good FAKE instrument sound quality. the walls of the esplanade reflects the sounds vibrated in a zig-zag frequency, so the sound revolved around the room really well, but the sound is fake. people who really know real music dont fancy the esplanade. the sound produced is clear, but you aint hearing the sound of the real instrument.

whereas VCH keeps the music intact in the performance hall, and when the sound is reflected against the wall, it revolves around the room in straight frequency, thus the sound is true and the quality is the original sound of the instruments.

SCH is a HUGE place, and thus the sound produced is clear at the front of the hall, but the sound at the end of the hall is not in top condition. if the hall is smaller, SCH might be the best place for music performances. thats why the judges of syf do not sit in the hall and listen, but actually records the music and listens to the music over and over again. SCH is a good place for recording music though due to the good walls.


okok enough of stuff that makes people who dont really fancy music sleep. i went school on a sunny saturday morning that makes people go play golf and build sandcastles by the shore. oh great, what am i doing in school. why must nyjc be 30 years old this year? cant it be 31? why does junior colleges need birthdays? do they need giant candles to blow?

while i'm typing this, my dear friends in vjco are performing. JIAYOU!! passed hong ming the 2 NYPF shirts (national youth percussion festival). hey dude, wash it and return me one day! i dun want it smelly~

its my 11th year in chinese orchestra, 4th syf. what am i doing in nyco...aint i sick of listening to a few more co musics? wont i go kuku?

okok. confession of a music idiot. when i stepped into nyjc, the news that nyjc lacks percussionists spread to my ears. as i had spent 10 years in co, i told myself: forget it. then after a few days, i realise that huei minn is also in co. she said she would quit co after syf. then tada! i joined co for their syf. just for the few cca points. THATS it.

then why am i still in nyco? firstly, bball coach dont want me. secondly, i dont mind being in co. there are nice people in co like weijian, dominic, wing yan jie, jia min blah blah. its rather easy to interact with the people in co. and the co room is a small cosy place. never mind the facilities and instruments. honestly, i'm sick about them, having tortured instruments for 10 yrs. i prefer KFC chicken drumsticks to percussion drumsticks. at least they are edible right?

thinking of it. i'll be mingling with co people for 2 more years, playing bball and badminton, hanging out in the co room after school, playing crazy rythmns, learning new instrus, performing infront of people, singing dumb songs with albert and dominic, bullying juniors, moving instruments. there sure are pros and cons eh.

....maybe its because i've been in fantastic orchestras all my life. rosyth co, dhsco. i've been with great conductors. maybe thats why. never mind.

i will survive in nyco. i will try my very best in nyco. i will make nyco a better place to be. i want people to say "i love nyco. i am proud to be in nyco." i will try to make nyco people's jie zhou gan, yin yue gan, tai feng and yi zhun better.i will start with what i'm best at.

3oth anniversary playing infront of ministers and school. >< aint that worse?
